League of Women Voters - 411 Update

Such a great afternoon with over 40 industry leaders sharing with 120 HS teachers how the North Kansas City POG comes alive in the workplace! @HollisandMiller Laura Wagner @AthenaGraham @ShannonSShelton

This was a great meeting at Oak Park, with the students presenting on their partnership with the Kansas City Zoo and their designs for a new zoo habitat, marketing efforts, and the business of running a zoo.  Excellent learning experience!  We need more businesses to get involved in real-world learning for the kids.

These meetings take place every month at one of our four high schools.  Come join us!
